The La Zambra hotel, belonging to the Hyatt chain, has the technical support of Grupo GUBIA for the wood paneling of its new interior spaces.
Located between Malaga and Marbella, the formerly known Byblos hotel is reborn. Recognized as an Andalusian icon, this complex with almost forty years of experience has completely renovated its facilities.
This 5-star hotel has a spa covered with a unique wooden ceiling, made to measure. 30x30mm heat-treated wood slats are superimposed interlocking at two levels on a WBP plywood board. This superimposition generates an original pattern, reminiscent of traditional latticework of Arab origin.
To understand the project and check technical aspects, a 1:1 scale model was made.
