WOOD CEILINGS
We manufacture custom wood ceilings with specific acoustic requirements, available in a wide variety of finishes, including natural wood veneers, bamboo and lacquer. We have developed our own system of wood and bamboo slatted ceilings: GUBI SLATS, a modular system that combines aesthetics, acoustics and sustainability.
For outdoor applications, our GUBI_OUTDOOR SLATS system incorporates laminated bamboo slats and a flexible fixing system, adapting the construction solution to environmental exposure conditions and the specific requirements of each project.
Our carpenters and technical specialists in wood and bamboo assess each project individually, providing tailored solutions and construction details to meet its specific requirements. We have developed wood ceilings for theatres, auditoriums, town halls and numerous public buildings, as well as private residences where the ceiling becomes a defining feature of the space. (+)
Wood ceilings are developed using different construction systems to meet the technical and architectural requirements of each project. We manufacture and install wood or bamboo slatted ceilings, wood-finished panels and bespoke solutions, either as continuous ceiling finishes or suspended systems. These ceilings can be adapted to different geometries, modular layouts and panel configurations, depending on the scale of the space and the constraints of the existing supporting structure.
Depending on the acoustic requirements, the ceilings incorporate grooved or perforated solutions combined with sound-absorbing materials installed behind the finish, ensuring compliance with the project’s technical specifications. The ceiling systems also allow for the integration of lighting, HVAC and other building services, while maintaining visual continuity and careful detailing.
Each solution is developed specifically for the project, defining sections, supporting structures and junction details, with particular attention to material performance and proper on-site installation.
