Campus MADNUM, the ambitious project in the Madrid neighborhood of Méndez Álvaro, is about to inaugurate its interior space. Designed by Estudio LAMELA, it has counted with the collaboration of Grupo GUBIA for the interior carpentry and furniture design.
The initiative covers more than 90,000 square meters and will transform the area with a mix of offices, housing, retail and green spaces. It is the first mixed-use campus of its kind in Spain, with an investment of 323 million euros.
Our work in MADNUM Campus
Grupo GUBIA has played a crucial role in the interior design of one of its properties. Specifically, the main lobby stands out for its oak woodwork. It is present both in wooden slatted lattices on the first floor, as well as custom-made furniture in shelves, displays and reception desks. In turn, the unique access staircase and railings have been implemented with this wood species. This design not only provides a warm and contemporary aesthetic, but also aligns with the project’s commitment to sustainability. MADNUM incorporates advanced technologies for the use of renewable energy and de-carbonization. It aims to obtain the highest sustainability certifications, such as BREEAM and LEED.
In addition to office and residential space, the MADNUM Campus will have 5,000 square meters of commercial space and 6,400 square meters of green space. This landmark project will change the urban landscape of Méndez Álvaro and will also set a new standard in developing mixed and sustainable spaces in Madrid.
