This is a new, patentable design that combines functionality, aesthetics, comfort, and safety. After months of testing and trials, Grupo GUBIA has added this new version of its bamboo slat ceiling, with in-depth fireproofing treatment, to its catalog. The new model has achieved a Bs1d0 fire rating, complying with the highest requirements of the DB-SI Technical Code.
The system is available in various formats; with a specific fixed edge of 19 or 38 mm, the height of the slats and the spacing between them can be customized.
Slatted ceiling installation system
A profile system, such as that used in a removable ceiling, is sufficient for installing the system: primary and secondary profiles suspended from the support by rods, which allow the surface to be leveled. The modules that make up the slats, which come in different sizes depending on the model, are hung from the previous structure using clips. Only 8 clips are needed to suspend each module.
This system facilitates the assembly and disassembly of slatted ceilings for access to installations.
Safety and reaction to fire
The big news about this version is its in-depth fireproofing and subsequent treatment with Bs1d0 flame-retardant varnish, designed for projects with maximum safety requirements. Also available with other Cs2d0/Bs2d0 fire ratings depending on project needs.
