Few months ago we talked about our participation in the Rehabilitation of Baena´s Castle. We want to show you some pictures before we close for holidays, a summary of the manufacturing process and on-site assembly of wooden walkways.
We have finished all manufacturing in our carpentry and we have installed most of the work units. Now we are going on holidays.
We have developed a lot of technical information that could be facilitated very soon.
Baena uses timber in the rehabiltation of part of his artistic heritage, the Castle. Azuche 88 is undertaking the works some months ago.
Jose Manuel López Osorio is the architect of the project. This interesting intervention consists of the recovery of the castle towers and their communication by wooden walkways made of iroco, so that the visitor can explore the whole.
GUBIA Group is making this work. Wood slats made of iroco are jointed through an interesting system of wooden joints. We have been defining details and finishes during months. Our Technical Department and CIS-Madeira has been working closely.
The works should be completed in the third quarter of this year, so soon we will show you pictures of this singular work.
