{"id":92472,"date":"2015-01-10T23:00:00","date_gmt":"2015-01-10T22:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/grupogubia.com\/gubia-group-will-be-at-centre-pompidou-in-malaga\/"},"modified":"2022-09-23T12:20:46","modified_gmt":"2022-09-23T10:20:46","slug":"gubia-group-will-be-at-centre-pompidou-in-malaga","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/grupogubia.com\/en\/gubia-group-will-be-at-centre-pompidou-in-malaga\/","title":{"rendered":"GUBIA Group will be at Centre Pompidou in M\u00e1laga"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"LEFT\">The Cube, building between Pier 1 and 2 in the Port of M\u00e1laga, will become a couple of months in the second outer extention of National Centre of Art and Culture Georges Pompidou in Paris and the first located outside France.<\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\">Over 6000m2 will show around seventy works from its permanent collection and temporary exhibitions annually; will also feature workshops for children and adolescents.<\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\">The project has been carried out by the technical team of the Municipal Planning Department of M\u00e1laga and the development of everything related to wooden spaces and furniture has been revised by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/grupogubia.com\/en\/about-us\/\">Technical Department of GUBIA\u00b4s Group<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\">Project leaders have chosen simple constructive solutions and a careful combination of materials and colors to accompany artworks. \u201cThe design tries to generate neutral spaces serving the contemplation of art work\u201d. White and light colors are predominant in materials chosen.<\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\">The central space, where part of the permanent collection will be exhibited, is wrapped with a spectacular pine lattice formed by wooden pieces of 200x75mm finished with white varnish, while spaces for tickets sale, baggage room, caf\u00e9, .. will be coated by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/grupogubia.com\/en\/news-bamboo\/\">bamboo<\/a>\u00a0in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/grupogubia.com\/bamboo-veneer\/?lang=en\" class=\"broken_link\">walls<\/a>, ceilings and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/grupogubia.com\/en\/news-bamboo-flooring\/\">flooring<\/a>\u00a0in the entrance floor<\/p>\n<p>Bamboo is used in the auditorium located on ground floor, where a singular acoustic bamboo ceiling covers seats area.<\/p>\n<p>The project was awarded to Dragados a few months ago and GUBIA has been subcontracted for the execution of all wooden items described above.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Cube, building between Pier 1 and 2 in the Port of M\u00e1laga, will become a couple of months in the second outer extention of National Centre of Art and Culture Georges Pompidou in Paris and the first located outside France.
