{"id":91183,"date":"2020-05-22T07:18:07","date_gmt":"2020-05-22T05:18:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/grupogubia.com\/working-on-a-passivhaus-thermo-wood-facade\/"},"modified":"2022-09-23T12:21:48","modified_gmt":"2022-09-23T10:21:48","slug":"working-on-a-passivhaus-thermo-wood-facade","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/grupogubia.com\/en\/working-on-a-passivhaus-thermo-wood-facade\/","title":{"rendered":"Working on a PassivHaus thermo-wood facade"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"row h-100 textBlock promoted text-justify\">The architecture studio\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ohlab.net\/\">OHLAB<\/a>, established in Palma de Mallorca and especialized in PassivHaus construction, has relied on Grupo GUBIA\u00b4s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/grupogubia.com\/en\/about-us\/\">technical department<\/a>\u00a0to develop the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/grupogubia.com\/en\/wooden-facade-villa\/\">wooden facade<\/a>\u00a0of one of the most emblematic projects.<\/div>\n<div class=\"row h-100 textBlock promoted text-justify\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"row h-100 textBlock promoted text-justify\">It is a 7-floor residential complex located on Paseo de Palma, that will represent a landmark in the city for its\u00a0architecture, sustainability, energy efficiency, urban integration, quality of materials, interior design and comfort.\u00a0 Designed following Passivhaus\u00a0standars to achieve maximum energy efficiency and an air conditioning demand of only 15kWh \/ m2a, it will become a construction with a very low energy cost.<\/div>\n<div class=\"row h-100 textBlock promoted text-justify\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"row h-100 textBlock promoted text-justify\">Most of the fa\u00e7ade is made up of fixed and sliding panels made of slats of heat-treated wood. They are a brise-soleil for homes, lights and shadows allow to take advantages of the sun throughout the year. The wooden slats, with sections of 42&#215;42, 68&#215;42 and 90x42mm and diffrent separtions between them are fixed to an aluminum frame resistant to the marine environment.
