In 2019 we were surprised by this project that we could not stop being part of, after hard design work we finally its execution, we are very happy to tell you that it has been completed.<\/p>\n

As we have already mentioned on other occasions, the wood chosen for this project is heat-treated pine wood, the exposure of the wood to high temperatures alters its internal properties, making it, among other things, much more resistant. Which allows it to be an excellent option for outdoor use, and in this case it is applied a few meters from the sea.<\/p>\n

“The fa\u00e7ade, consisting of sliding panels made of wooden slats, acts as a solar filter to create stunning effects of changing light and shade on the homes, making the most of the sun, efficiently and all year round. The projects has been designed in accordance with Passivehaus standards to achieve maximum energy efficiency and a heating\/air-conditioning demand of only 15kWh\/(m2y). This means a reduction of almost 90% in terms of air heating and cooling requirements in comparison with a conventional building, resulting in extremely low energy costs for the owner and for the planet. This construction method falls within the nZEB (nearly zero energy building) standard for consumption.” OHLAB<\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n
