Madrid

Architect:

Installed products:

charred wooden facade, bamboo solid flooring, custom-made doors, bespoke furniture

This clinic, located in the Ventilla neighborhood in Madrid, has been designed thinking about oriental culture, An exterior lattice made of charred wooden, made according to the Japanese technique Shou Sugi Ban, gives a new image to the ground floor of the building in which it is located, a traditional brick building in the area.

Interior design incorporates several elements typical of a Japanese home: a tokonomo, where a traditional kimono is exihited, and a ‘shoji’ door, made of bamboo and rice paper.

Bamboo is present in all the decoration: bamboo flooring, high wall paneling illuminated by leeds, door frames and custom-made furniture, where it is combined with white lacquered panels.
