The residential building Paseo Mallorca 15 receives two nominations to awards this year.
Last year we finished the installation of the wooden facade of this project in Palma de Mallorca, a singular wooden brise-soleil. It is an exclusive system, with fixed and sliding modules, designed and manufactured by GUBIA Group for the architecture studio OHLAB.
The building has been shortlisted as a finalist for World Architecture Festival 2022 in the category Best Use of Certified Timber because of the employ of thermo-treated Scots pine, with PEFC certification.
The design criteria of the project, NZEB “Zero Net Energy Building”, was the motive because it was also shortlisted for Dezeen Awards 2022 in the category of Sustainable Building.
The team of GUBIA is proud with the finished project adn the obtained results.
