New Year brought us wonderful news, like two of our last projects has been nominated to “Building of the year 2016” prize, organizated by the website Archdaily. Both projects, Oratory and Assembly Hall in Retamar School and TGSS in Motril, were developed by us with architecture office and are nominated in this 7th edition of Archidaily prizes.
Nominated projects in this competition are proposed by users of the website, so it is for us an honor this recognition to quality and effort in each building, and somewhat to our works about our products. In the next days votes to each project from the website will be counted and 14 finalist per category will be announced for the edition of 2016 prizes.
Our participation was so different in each project but we always focused to create remarkable spaces with wooden materials. Oratory and Assembly Hall in Retamar School was covered by bamboo, special material that we have been using during year, the main paneling due to flexible bamboo laminated used. Also, for TGSS in Motril our technical team developed an structural system of outside iroko walkway, joined by steel sticks.
We are so glad with this recognition and we would like to congratulate to the rest of nominated.
