Bamboo renews the interior of the CICCP

The College of Engineers of Roads, Canals and Ports has carried out a comprehensive reform to its facilities to carry out various functional adaptations that simultaneously dressed the interior of bamboo, present in floorsbamboo cladding, custom doors and slatted ceilings, without leaving out visual finishes. At the entrance to the newly renovated school facilities, we are greeted by a large custom-designed pivoting door in bamboo, which leads to a spacious hall that covers the floors in bamboo and adorns the entire space with slatted bamboo ceilings, giving away a cozy entrance perspective.

Throughout the visit that we can make of the facilities, we can appreciate all the details of the custom carpentry made of bamboo. The richness in textures provided by the different use of the bamboo boards plays with the filigree of the edges and the front slats. The route is crowned with different finishes, which, paying attention, we observe are made up of exterior wood carpentry in iroko, to match the interior carpentry in bamboo.

This is the second intervention In the College of Engineers of Roads, Canals, and Ports of Madrid in which Gubia Group participated, and without a doubt, with complete success.
